Well, it’s finally here! THE WIFE’S TALE is in stores now.

We celebrated its launch in fine style at Avid Reader bookstore at West End on Friday night. The space was full to bursting, wine and canapés flowed freely and everyone seemed to have a great time. The night flew past before I knew it but it’s a memory I’ll treasure for years to come.

The wonderful suspense writer, Helene Young, performed the official launch of the book and after a few words from me, my editor, Sarah Fairhall and I chatted about the book.

I was thrilled to share the special night with readers, friends and family. I’m so grateful for everyone’s support and for the lovely messages I’ve been receiving from people telling me they’re loving the story.

As I said in my speech, the writing process seems to drag on so long after the manuscript is handed in, what with edits and so forth, that there never seems to be a definite time to celebrate its completion. Friday night was that celebration and I couldn’t have asked for better.
